I was born in Çankırı in 1970. Having completed my medical education in Anadolu University Medical Faculty, I completed my Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery specialty training in Ankara Numune Training and Research Hospital. Later, I worked as a specialist and a chief assistant in Kartal Training and Research Hospital until 2005. I became an Associate Professor in 2005 and continued working as an assistant clinical chief in Kartal Training and Research Hospital during 2005-2010. I was appointed as the chief of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery clinic of Okmeydanı Training and Research Hospital having successfully passed the examination held in 2010. After working as the chief of clinic for about 3 years, I started working as a Professor in the Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Department of Medipol University in 2013. As of January 2016, I have been seeing patients in my own clinic.

In 1997, I worked in collaboration with renowned surgeons in the field of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery for six months in Virginia, USA. My interest in craniosynostosis fist started to grow when I was there. Later on, I heavily studied on this subject when I returned to Turkey. 

In 2004, I was awarded the clinical branch grand prize in the Turkish Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery workshop. I have authored more than a hundred international and national papers and contributed in various journals and books. Aside from my specialty in Plastic, Reconstructive an Aesthetic Surgery, I also specialize in Mouth, Face and Jaw Surgery and Hand Surgery. I am keenly interested in almost every field of plastic and aesthetic surgery, in particular, nose aesthetics and revision, breast aesthetics and abdominal aesthetics. My special interests also include congenital anomalies, cleft lip-palate, head deformities (craniosynostosis), ankylosis and dysfunctions of the temporomandibular joint, and skin tumors (particularly malign melanomas). With the experience and knowledge I have in these areas, I continue helping my patients in my office in Varyap Sheraton Business Tower Ataşehir.
