It is possible to correct the signs of aging in the eyelids with the surgical methods I apply on the lower and upper eyelids. Baggy appearance and expression of aging can be corrected with the nonscarring operation I perform through the eyelid in suitable patients when removing the excess skin and excess fat in the eyelids and repositioning the fatty tissues suitably.
This procedure can be done under local anesthesia, but it would be better to operate under general anesthesia if the surgery will be performed on a larger region. The patient will stay in the hospital for a day, if necessary. Following, my patients can return to socialization within a short period of time. Edema resolves within a few weeks and the results of the surgery become more visible.
